“Your First Stop for International Career Research”
On the web @ http://go.global.wisc.edu/

Global Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison launched “Go Global! The International Careers Website” on April 15, 2003. This project, a joint venture of several UW-Madison career centers and the International Studies Major, is coordinated by Global Studies and initially funded by an Innovations grant from the International Institute. The Go Global! site assists UW-Madison students as they prepare and search for internationally-oriented employment by listing various campus resources and contacts, announcing relevant campus events, presenting career development tools, and including links to websites that specialize in posting career opportunities and development resources worldwide. Go Global! is the starting point for freshmen planning the international aspects of their academic careers, and a resource for graduating seniors, alumni, and others, who are ready to join the global workplace.

These pages can be viewed by all who have access to the world wide web, but remember that a job search should not be carried out completely on the Internet! As a UW-Madison student, you also have the privilege of accessing the print information and professional expertise physically housed in the campus career services offices. Discover what tools, resources and staff are available on campus and then Go! take advantage of them!

We aim to keep this site as comprehensive and up-to-date as possible. We also welcome UW-Madison students, faculty and friends to browse the site and offer feedback. We are particularly interested in learning about sites or materials you have found useful, but do not see on these pages.
