UW-Madison Campus Resources

The scope of what's available on campus to students interested in pursuing international opportunities is tremendous.

Your first step should be to visit one of the Campus Career Centers. Meeting with an advisor can prove invaluable. The centers also have substantial collections of print resources not available on the web. Click on the link above to see a list of career centers on campus and the contact person/s and resources available at each.

Many of these centers - and a number of other UW-Madison programs and offices - maintain webpages of resources relevant to students seeking an international career. Click on the following link for a list of Online Campus Resources hosted on UW servers.

Outside of the career centers, faculty, staff, and fellow students involved in the many international programs here on campus can be a source of guidance and help you to begin networking internationally. As can visiting the Area Studies Program office of interest to you here on campus.

There is no need to wait until you get abroad to gain international experience. There are plenty of “international” opportunities right here on campus. Visit our International Opportunities in Madison page to get started.
